Monark 828E Test Ergometers

Also known as the Monark Ergomedic Bike, the Monark 828E Test Ergometer has a new, softer frame design, and new electronic instrumentation that shows pedal-turns per minute, cycling-time in minutes and seconds, intended cycling speed in km/miles per hour, plus distance covered in km/miles. Also includes monitor reading of calorie consumption and power in watts. Heart rate monitoring is handled via telemetry. The Monark 828E Test Ergometer employs telemetry technology provided by Polar. The Monark 828E Test Ergometer employs the unique, precise, and easy to use pendulum balance to control braking. A belt that runs round the rim of the flywheel is mechanically calibrated. A pendulum is fixed to a revolving drum attached to both ends of the belt. The difference in pulling power on the two ends of the belt is measured and translated into the braking calibration.

Like all Monark Stationary Bikes, the Monark 828E Test Ergometer is made to the highest possible standard of quality, performance, safety, and durability. Seat and handlebar heights can be adjusted to suit the needs of various body types or position preferences. A reinforced, powder painted, square tubing frame provides stability.
